Sperling Interactive is currently seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join our content creation team. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for managing an array of social media accounts for our clients.

The ideal Social Media Coordinator is a passionate, collaborative, super detail-oriented individual who is eager to contribute to our Social Media strategy for our clients. The perfect candidate would have previous experience in planning, organizing, and implementing strategic content across Social channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest. Familiarity with boosting, UTM tracking & IG/Facebook stories a major PLUS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create & Schedule Social Media Calendars (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Research industry-related topics and staying up to date on what’s trending
  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Increase engagement and drive quality traffic to site
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Coordinating with our blog writers to incorporate in your social strategy
  • Collaborate with designers & our content team to create amazing graphics
  • Ensure all-around consistency & accuracy of content (style, fonts, images and tone)
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 0 to 1 year of experience in coordination of Social Media accounts
  • Knowledge of UTM tracking, Analytics, and WordPress a plus
  • Basic understanding of online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Proficient in Google Suite Products: Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a knack for editing & proofreading
  • Must be ready to learn, develop, and show initiative

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour

Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications

Experience:

  • Social Media Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
