Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Director of Business Development (Outbound Sales) to lead our outbound sales initiatives. In this role, you will drive new business opportunities by identifying prospects, building relationships, and closing high-value deals. Your expertise in B2B sales, negotiation, and technology sales will be essential to expanding our client base and strengthening our market presence.

This role will have a base pay as well as commission paid on net new revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive outbound sales strategies to generate new business leads and opportunities
  • Conduct warm calling and outbound outreach via telemarketing to prospective clients across targeted industries
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with potential clients through effective communication and consultative selling
  • Lead negotiations to close deals that align with company goals while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and analyze performance metrics
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align outreach efforts with campaign initiatives and brand messaging
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities in technology sales

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of business development, sales leadership, or agency growth experience
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, outbound calling, and technical or technology sales roles
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals
  • Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships
  • Demonstrated ability in business development and customer service environments
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
