North Shore Community College is a public, non-profit, 2-year institution of higher education created by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The community college is designed to support and provide students with pathways to academic and professional achievement without incurring unnecessary student debt, as well as the confidence to embrace excellence, equity, inclusion, and fulfillment in their career choices.
North Shore Community College (NSCC) came to Sperling looking to increase its general brand awareness, help attract traditional and non-traditional students to its wide variety of programs, and increase donations for the North Shore Community College Foundation, an organization that supports students at NSCC.
We have been working with North Shore Community College since 2008, driving enrollment through open house marketing and email marketing, designing lookbooks, Google Search, Display, and paid ads to attract potential students. In addition, our photography and videography team has taken photographs and created videos for the college’s key events including graduation.
Sperling also directed efforts toward the NSCC Foundation, developing a campaign highlighting how North Shore Community College students have impacted the North of Boston community and have become the healthcare providers, first responders, small business owners, skilled professionals, and creative artists we interact with in our everyday lives. Within this campaign, we led their paid advertising, built email content, and interviewed students and donors about their experience with the foundation.
Through Sperling’s marketing efforts, North Shore Community College achieved the highest attendance at its open houses in the history of the college, along with other remarkable outcomes.
