As our Senior Content Writer, Sheila is the wordsmith of our office. Since joining the team in 2012, she has crafted content such as strategic blogs, website content, public relations announcements, and ongoing social media posts for our clients. Sheila received a BA in History Education from Merrimack College and her Masters in Education from the University of Massachusetts. Her experience as a high school teacher prepared her well for being able to create all types of content in many different fields for our clients.

After spending a decade teaching at a local high school, Sheila made the jump to Sperling to be able to spend more time with her children. She has always loved reading, writing, and playing word games like Bananagrams and Wordscapes. Naturally writing has become not just her career but also something she genuinely enjoys doing. When she is not working with clients crafting her latest content, Sheila can be found at her children’s sporting events and curled up reading a book.
